     The world is learning something that we already know......Greenville is a fantastic place to live.  The business community is thriving and attracting industry, as well as individuals, and the once small communities on our outskirts are becoming small cities in their own right.  The medical center/hospital has evolved into a world-class facility, and we now can add the new heart center to our list of attributes.  

     Speaking of heart, the heart of Greenville is alive and well, and it pumps PURPLE AND GOLD!!!  For those of you from parts unknown, PURPLE AND GOLD refer to the EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY school colors.  The enthusiasm of the Pirate fans, as the long days of summer give way to the crisp autumn mornings, can mean only one thing.....it's time for PIRATE FOOTBALL.  Pack a picnic for the tailgate and "MEET ME AT DOWDY-FICKLEN!"
